My Project

Hi! I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and asking for your help! We are located in an inner city district with a very limited budget. Most of the time this is many students' first school experience. Children in our classroom are encouraged to create their own projects in the art center, typically called process art. They are free to create and use the supplies as they want. Because of this, our art center needs a refresh. We are still using the same gallon-sized paint from when I took over this classroom in 2016. Our current paint has separated, is watery, and borderline unusable.

We are asking for donations to help fill their art center with a variety of paint, paint supplies, and stamping materials.

Painting is one of their favorite activities to choose from and we are beginning to limit the opportunities due to supply shortage. We plan to incorporate the paint supplies directly into the art center shelving, immediately available to the students. They are self-sufficient and have many processes in place to paint independently!
