Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an amazing group of learners from disadvantaged backgrounds; 100% of our students receive free lunch and a third of the students speak a language other than English at home. The students have limited experiences outside the classroom walls. They have limited exposure to current academic materials and often utilize used and donated supplies. They have limited access to cultural and extra-curricular activities as well. The children are eager learners just waiting for the right tools to help them succeed. Please help a great group of children soar high to reach their full potential!
My Project
My students need new art supplies to complete projects in class. Currently, we do not have paint in our classroom. We cannot create letters or seasonal projects or participate in a creative painting center. My kindergarten students have been asking to paint but unfortunately, I have been unable to supply them with these materials.
These little learners would love a multi-pack of colorful paints for various projects, paintbrushes, glitter, paint cups and more to let their creativity run wild!
Please consider contributing to help them have the same experiences as similarly aged children. Please help my kindergarten kids paint a rainbow of learning!
