PAINT 3.0 Building Our Set 4 Into the Woods

Help me give my students the paint supplies they need to build our set for our upcoming musical.

My Project

My students create a family at our school. We are a performing arts family (bands, choirs, strings, theatre, and dance) that support each other on the stage, in the classroom, and beyond. We are an NJ high school, just outside NYC, servicing a multicultural population of students from varying socioeconomic backgrounds. We strongly believe that the arts can instill positive change, transform, inspire, and change lives.

These paint supplies, painting tape, rags, and sponges will support our students/teacher as we build our set for "Into the Woods", our spring musical.

The performing arts program is a powerful unifier in our school. We are going to build this program over a strong foundation and proud history and generations of art students.

My students love to perform and are extremely motivated. They are eager and love performing together. We also have a team of students working with our new theatre teacher behind the scenes learning the world of technical theatre, scenic design, set building, painting, lights, and sound. We produced "White Christmas" as a musical in December and three months later, we will perform "Into the Woods". These tools will go right into helping our program construct our set for the March musical.
