This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Most of our Track and Field athletes are first-year participants, but one thing I appreciate about our athletes is that despite being new to the sport, they give their 110% no matter the obstacles. Whether there's confusion or the weather isn't looking right, our athletes give their full effort to become better at the sport they'll soon learn to master.
Our school is currently facing a deficient in proper funding for our future scholar athletes.
By providing discs and shot puts we can better train our athletes with the materials they need and give them a great track experience for future years! Through the use of parachutes we can better our sprinters outcomes and conditioning during meets and practice, parachutes provide great conditioning for our sprinters and we'd love to see them get the best outcome possible during their meets! Through donations, we'll also be able to properly hydrate our athletes at practice and meets while using these materials for years to come!
