My Students

Our school is a rural school in a very large urban school district. We are a small "everyone is family" school. Our school is an A rated, nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School.

My students love to learn!

If you were to step into our classroom, you would see students talking about math, playing math games, using technology and having fun doing it all!

My students inspire and amaze me each and every day. My goal is to stretch and grow their minds in not only the area of math, but in all academic areas.

My Project

In my first grade classroom, we are always in the land of doing...never in the land of done! I like to have practice materials ready for my students to use when they finish with their assignments, for center use, or just for a down time in our day.

This iPad would give my students another tool to practice on.

Students will use the iPad to take comprehension tests, practice math facts and skills, and to do computer coding programs. Having this iPad will enrich my classroom even more, by giving us another practice tool! Another tool means less students waiting to use the resources we have, and more time spent practicing!
