My Students

My students come to school every day excited to learn but struggle in the classroom because they are below grade level. I teach students in an Intense Learning Support environment and focus on the skills they are lacking. Our classes serve students with a range of disabilities including emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder, and specific learning disabilities.

My students do not have the proper resources or technology to succeed.

In order to bridge their educational gap, it is important that they are exposed to technology that will allow them to work at their own pace. Please help these well-deserving students!

My Project

My classroom includes students grades 6-8 with varying abilities. It is very difficult to reach every student's needs without the technology necessary in order to participate in a school-wide intervention program.

Our current computers are shared between three classes, do not support most educational applications and do not even have a working keyboard!

I'd like to give students functioning technology with access to a broad range of resources to conduct research in different ways and encourage engagement. My students will practice collaboration skills by getting involved in different online activities and applications. This technology would be utilized and cared for with your help!
