Ozobots: Tiny Technology for Gigantic Learning

My Students

The students at our school are amazing! They come into the classroom excited to learn and become involved in whatever topic that is in the plan. We have wonderful support from our parents. We have a very diverse population of students, culturally, economically, and with different learning abilities. It has become my goal to try and stay ahead of them!

STEM is the future for these students.

They are excited to be involved in science, technology, engineering and math activities that we are beginning to provide our students. They are flourishing when they work on their own or in small groups.

Our students are working hard to create a solid base of education. They appreciate what they have now, and they are learning to use their knowledge to take control of their education. We love to see their excitement grow as they are introduced to new information.

My Project

There is never enough time in the day!

Robotics camps after school hours will provide an unforgettable experience for our students.

A set of Ozobots in our classroom will be a beginning resource for an after school camp where the students will learn the basics of coding. Our future web developers, coding coaches, software developers, and even medical specialists can say they got their start with the generosity of Donors Choose! Who knows what other jobs will open up in the future?

I want our students to be prepared by learning the basics of coding. Our students will leave the classroom learning not only how to program the robots using provided technology, but also having the basics of how coding works without the technology.
