My Students

My students and I are always looking for new ways to make learning fun! Our goal is to be creative critical thinkers. Our school is a Title 1 school and our students have to overcome many challenges in order to make the most of each and everyday.

Our students need constructive ways to help them grow as problem solvers.

They love working together to complete hands on projects. I hope you can help us have new and fun learning opportunities!

My Project

Have you ever dissected an owl pellet? Help our students have the amazing hands on experience of picking through the owl pellet with tweezers to find bones of animals that the owl ate. Students can learn about where animals live, their habitat, and prey by dissecting owl pellets. Often times, students learn about science and animals with notes or worksheets. Our goal is to provide students an opportunity to have real life experiences like a scientist and not just learn about animals from boring worksheets! Students will practice other skills like graphing, classifying, and predicting after dissecting their Owl pellet.
