My Students

Third grade is a huge year in a student's elementary school experience. They are going from learning to read, to reading to learn. They are becoming a lot more independent and taking more responsibility in their own learning. They are going to be faced with End of Grade Testing for the first time.

I love getting the students hooked into reading from day 1 so they are not just worried about what is coming up on a test.

This age group is wonderful to work with and so excited about learning. I am looking forward to a great year!

My Project

We will be using these novels as the year progresses to hook the students into reading and to master the necessary reading skills for third grade. Students will be hooked on reading after exploring these wonderful titles!

Please help make it possible for the students to experience every word and dive into every moment of these wonderful books!

We will be using these novels as a cross between literacy, social studies, science and math! Reading has becoming so much more now, we are not just reading a book to show we can, we are reading a book to learn new things and take us places.
