My students need a portable air conditioner, fan, and rug for a cool work environment.

Our Title I elementary school is located in Brooklyn's East New York. The neighborhood is diverse with many cultures and peoples from various backgrounds. All our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. We service a large special education population who have their own unique learning styles and needs.
My ICT class has both General Education and Special Education students.
We are a family of different learners all with something wonderful to contribute to our class family. I want each of my students to be able to learn and achieve and the best way to do that is by having a classroom environment that is safe and comfortable for learning.
Unfortunately, we do not have the all the materials needed to successfully supplement the education for all students.
As the temperature begins to increase, so does my panic! Our classroom is located on the 4th floor and we do not have any devices to help us combat the blistering heat. My students need a portable air conditioner and fan to cool the classroom down to a manageable temperature. With the use of the portable air conditioner and fan we can cool the temperature to a level that will help create a comfortable working environment. This will resolve students discomfort when working in the heat.
I believe that with a cool and comfortable work environment students will succeed!
The rug will be used as a Reading Center for students to use for Guided Reading (when students read books on their reading level and at their pace; which helps increase their reading level).
