My students are fantastic and I love them! Our school is in a rural community quickly turning into suburbs with local development growth. We are a state award winning school, and we have been awarded several grants for arts infusion and curriculum.

My Project
Our class needs materials to make our work stand out. We will use neon highlighters, lamps, flashlights, and wikki sticks to find evidence in texts and color code our math work. Using these neon colors for our work will help us identify the important parts of texts and mathematical problems. To make them really stand out, we will shine black lights on our work. These lights make the highlighted areas really stand out.
Highlighting information makes important information really stand out to students.
Using the materials from the project will give students a variety of ways to determine which information is important and how to use it.
