My third graders walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything. My third graders come from a variety of different economic backgrounds in our urban community. Our school boundaries also include our county domestic abuse center for women and their children; we open our doors to students who are temporary housed at this shelter and who are experiencing crisis in their young lives.
My students want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful.
My third graders are eager to learn and do their best.
Osmo revolutionizes technology use in the classroom, enhancing all subjects by combining hands-on activities with engaging applications. With Osmo, students engage longer and build a better collaborative learning environment. Osmo is real play and real learning.
The use of Osmo would appeal to all learners since it presents many levels of learning and moves the learner through an adaptive pace.
Osmo provides hands-on creativity and problem solving for students in all subject areas of the classroom. Osmo will add to my instruction of coding, math, language arts, and science. Osmo encourages students to collaborate on tables or floors while manipulating tangible game pieces such as number tiles and letter tiles.
