This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
With the warmer weather approaching, our kids are itching to get outside for some much needed vitamin D and exercise. Our kids get 20 minutes of gross motor activity time and our outdoor supplies have slowly gone missing. We had some tricycles in the gym but they are down to only 4 that don't have a broken seat or wheel, only two trampolines, some scooters, and bouncy balls.
I am requesting new toys which can help our kids with their gross motor development.
Gross motor skills need to develop before their fine motor skills can. Our preschoolers tend to be delayed in several developmental areas. These outside toys can also help them learn social skills by having them share and take turns with their friends. They can also encourage language skills by talking about colors and asking please.
