My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/urban area, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. We were​ so excited to get our gross motor project funded last year and it gave the children more opportunities to get out and get moving!

As we all know it is important and beneficial to get up and moving to enhance physical development.

We are hoping this project helps the teachers have an easier time transporting our gross motor items in and out of the building so that our gross motor items stay safe.

We are hoping this project will give our children the opportunity to have more time outside and less time getting ready to go out!

My Project

We are so grateful to have been fully funded for outside play equipment last year but have found it difficult to get the toys both inside and outside in a timely manner as we share the playground with three other classrooms.

So please help us get a storage cart to help maximize the children's playtime because we all know that physical movement is an essential part to growth and development.

We go outside daily with weather permitting so this is a wonderful opportunity to help our class get much need storage.

With only a 45 minute time frame for outside,​ we need to get in and out as quickly as possible and this cart will eliminate the time it takes to get our playground toys both outside and inside!
