Over the last 10 years our school has planted and maintained successful outdoor garden beds. The kids enjoy planting, weeding and harvesting different types of vegetables. They hold a farmers market to share with the community after each harvest.

Not only are we blessed to have a science program with a committed and knowledgeable science teacher, we have an amazing administration, dedicated teachers and a wonderful community surrounding our school. We are always seeking ways to help our students grow. Our students are energetic, bright, and full of amazing ideas. They love our school and work hard to learn.
The integration of a weatherproof outdoor whiteboard will support our gardening lessons. This resource can be utilized by all staff when outdoor experiences will help in the growth and success of our learners.
My Project
When students have an opportunity to learn outdoors magical things happen. They have Increased attention and engagement, whiteboard instruction is essential to visual understanding.
With the use of dry-erase whiteboards, it is easier to catch the attention of students and facilitate their understanding of the lesson, this will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Our school garden is a valuable resource for our students and community. Students participate in learning how to grow, weed and harvest their garden. Donating to this project will allow educators to use diagrams and models to promote discussions and discourse with the students.
