My students need a field trip to Zoo World to study and journal Living and Non-Living things, the basic needs of plants and animals, and to make observations that plants and animals closely resemble their parents.
What is a way that students would love to learn about living and non-living things, how to treat animals, their needs, and write their own book? A trip to our local zoo would help us accomplish all of those things and more.
Our students are sweet children that might not ever have a chance to experience the zoo without this trip.
We are in a 100% free breakfast and lunch, Title one school. Many students are in need of basic necessities every day, and this trip would not be a possibility for them without your help.
My Project
My students would love a field trip to Zoo World to study Living and Non-Living things, the basic needs of plants and animals, and to make observations that plants and animals closely resemble their parents.
We will be studying about mammals in our ELA studies and would love for our children to get to experience seeing these animals in real life instead of just seeing pictures in a book.
They will be able to feed the animals, pet an animal, and will be writing in a journal about their experience in an observation book. Please make their dreams come true!
