Outdoor Learning

Help me give my students outdoor fun, learning, brain activities for development and continuous learning using gross motor skills by providing us with a play tunnel, pogo jumpers, and sight-word steps.

My Students

My students are full of energy, questions, constantly in the state of wanting to know. Their learning is not limited inside four walls, but beyond the walls of the great outdoors. My students attend a Title I school, with 100% of the students being eligible for free breakfast and lunch.

Having the right tools and equipment will help students learn by doing and kinesthetic will help them remember and retain the information; while having fun.

I want my students to enjoy having a fun learning experience outside as well as inside with also having materials to use during their independent learning time, reading, and writing.

My students need engaging materials to help improve their learning, academically, physically, and emotionally.

My Project

My students will be able to practice their sight words using sight word pads by playing different games such as hopscotch, calling out sight words. The pogo sticks will help students with brain development, balancing, and burning calories, which many students need daily physical movement. The tunnels are good for crawling to help students cross over their midline which triggers receptors in the brain for memory and physical development. My students will be able to work on these for social development to help them play, share, and wait their turn which are things that will also carry inside the classroom.
