I am lucky enough to teach 25, adorable and hardworking students who come from diverse ethnic and financial backgrounds, and they all come to learn.
My classroom is designed around my students, and it is truly all about them.
I designed my classroom around my students, and this pandemic is helping me better meet their health needs by truly thinking outside the box.
My students are treated as little humans who can make their own decisions when it comes to learning, including decisions about the physical environment in which they learn best. I have high expectations and set individualized goals for each student.
While one student is working on mastering grade-level curriculum, another is being challenged at their own level and working on a fourth-grade educational experience. Please help me on my journey to do this by supporting our project!

After the CDC recommended outdoor classrooms, I thought back to one of my dream projects of building an outdoor classroom for my amazing learners!
I am so very concerned about my students' physical well-being and their social and emotional well-being.
This is a better way to ensure my students' personal safety. The CDC recommends at least 50% fresh air throughout the instructional day! This project will help me achieve just that!
Helping us build an outdoor classroom would meet both needs! Please help us with these outdoor stackable chairs. Being outdoors allows us to learn in a cleaner air environment and will calm our anxieties at the same time. Natural sunlight will help us improve our overall health.
My classroom has been outdoors before while using uncomfortable front door mats. This set of chairs will be one of several we would like to have to create our new and safer learning zone. Being outside will also allow them to relax and socialize more with each other and provide frequent breaks from our classroom environment. Please help me make school as normal as possible and as safe as possible for these amazing kiddos!
