Outdoor Learning Classroom

Help me give my students the wonderful ability to enhance their learning in an outdoor setting. At our school, we have the perfect area to install seating and benches to allow to optimal, outdoor learning.

My Students

Our students are eager and enthusiastic learners! They range in age from 3 years old to 12 years old, and are the smartest, most hard working kiddos I know. Our school is a neighborhood school, with a very multicultural clientele.

Our school is made up of students of mixed ethnicity, gender, academic ability, physical and emotional ability, as well as socioeconomic status.

Our school is a Title 1 school, with a majority of our students needing Free and Reduced Lunch assistance. We use Full Inclusion principles in our school, and maintain that all students have a safe, nurturing, and excellent education.

My Project

At our school, we love to learn in all types of environments. We strongly believe in teaching all subjects, and many of those subjects through inquiry.

An outdoor learning classroom will give our school a wonderful place to learn and teach.

Students will be able to sit comfortably while learning and working on projects and concepts. They will be able to listen, observe the world around them, and learn outside the confines of a traditional classroom.

These benches are of the highest quality and meet all safety standards to give our students a safe, wonderful learning environment in an outdoor setting. This is also a wonderful way for us to commemorate our 50th anniversary for our wonderful school.
