My Students

My students have difficulties coming to school prepared on a daily basis. Any little noise can cause distraction and make them lose focus. They all come from very different backgrounds, and a lot of them struggle for basic necessities at home.

Our school is a high-poverty school.

My students are learning in a variety of ways! My students ask me specifically for ways to help them focus better. They want to learn and do well. My students need winter gear and snacks to help with everyday life!

My Project

I work in a high poverty school. Daily snacks are hard to come by. The students lose their focus when they get hungry. The snacks will be used for daily snack time to help the students stay focused.

The students also tend to lose their hats and gloves.

They often have all their gear except for one mitten or except for a hat. The outdoor gear will be used daily during recess, so the students can play in the snow.

The Clorox wipes will be used to help keep the tables clean and keep the students healthy.
