We are a suburban school with half of our student population coming to our school through open enrollment. People choose to have their children attend our school because we are known for providing educational opportunities and an environment that are unparalleled.
Our students are creative thinkers who are eager to learn in diverse ways.
We are an arts integration school meaning that we teach students to think like an artist to develop artist habits of mind that then bridge across to the academic areas.
My Project
We want to be able to make our garden an outdoor learning classroom with shaded seating for a whole class. Whether students are learning about the garden and plants, eating lunch as a reward for their ROCK behavior, or using the outdoor classroom to learn any academic subject, we want to make the garden a multi-functional space.
These tables will help students use our garden in ways that a whole class is not able to at this time.
We are able to be outdoors most of the year, but we do not currently have a place where a whole class can gather with seats and tables.
