My Students

Our students include multiple ethnicity's and backgrounds. We are working on building student leaders with our schools Leader in Me program. Many students have taken on leadership roles, one of this is to be a part of our fuel up to play 60 leadership team. This team encourages our student population to make healthy food choices and be physically active. We received a grant recently to fund an outdoor basketball court however we are short the amount of money to round out the equipment side of the project. Basketballs and other equipment would help for us to add another option for our students to be physically active before, during and after school.

My Project

These items will help us to fully furnish our outdoor basketball court with equipment so that students can participate in physical activity before during and after school.

We currently have a lunch break where students can play and get some extra energy out but we are working to build up the equipment and facilities to offer more options.

The storage cart would make for easy access to the equipment and help to keep the equipment secure when it is not in use. In addition to the basketball court that we plan to finish by April 2019, we also provide students with soccer equipment, flag football equipment and have also raised funds and completed installation on a disc golf course on our school campus.
