This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember how you learned to add and subtract? Children learn when they are doing, visualizing, and hearing. It's a combination of learning styles. These Unifix cubes will provide a tactile approach to learning math problem solving skills.

We are a Title I school in Texas.

My students are eager learners and enjoy being involved during instruction. They have a passion for their own learning. As I observe them during independent and group activity, I'm so proud of their enthusiasm for learning. They are an intelligent group of students!

My Project

My students will be able to use these Unifix cubes to assist them in problem solving skills such as word problems and math facts. It will provide them a hands-on approach to their learning and to the variety of learning styles that I have in my classroom.

My students will be grateful and very appreciative that other people care about their learning and their future.

These Unifix cubes will not only help the 17 children I have now, but the others that walk into my classroom in the future. Thank you.
