Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students enjoy coming to the library every week. They come in, they enjoy reading, story telling and other activities. Every week, elementary students come in and one Middle School class comes in. Our students here have a passion of growing and they are encouraged to read and succeed in life. Here at our school 90% of our students are Death and our Middle and High Schoolers don't come into the Library because it looks to boring or better say to childish for them.
My Project
The materials that I chose are to make a difference in every grade level, specially upper grade here at our Schools Library. Our Library looks very welcoming for everyone but for most upper grade students it might look more for lower grade students. Pugs will make them feel welcomed and being able to print colorful ASL motivational posters even just by decorating with plants around them to make them feel like they have a quiet place to read would be wonderful. Material are not intent to be used at home.
