My students need help funding a trip to the local zoo. They would be VERY excited to know that after a month of learning about zoo animals they will be able to visit a real zoo!

My Students

P. brings educational services to children and their families in and around the community. We have been serving the community for over 50 years! We as a non-profit organization focus on not only the children's education and everyday needs, but the education and everyday needs of our families as a whole.

The children in my room are fun loving children who love to learn new things and participate in hands-on activities.

We believe that parents play a major role in their child's lives, therefore we strive to have them play a role in our organization and in our classrooms as well.

My Project

During the month of June our class will be learning about zoo animals. We would love to give our students a chance to enhance their learning by actually taking a trip to the local zoo.

As you may already know, children learn and grasp new information better when they can relate to the information they are learning.

I believe that this would be a GREAT opportunity for the children to have fun and learn at the same time.

Due to the fact that we are a non profit organization that works closely with low income families, it is hard for us to come up with the money to give the children the ability to participate in field trips such as this one.
