This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Fall is almost here, and it's time to look forward to a new school year. A fresh start. Imagine all of those new shining faces ready to tackle another school year with joy and enthusiasm.
We utilize our unique differences to help us all learn and grow daily.
All of my students come from many diverse low socioeconomic backgrounds. We will work on the Reading, Math, and Social Studies curriculum together utilizing Whole/Group Instruction, Centers, and Independent Activities to enrich and remediate knowledge.
My Project
New books in our classroom will make a huge difference this school year with my students' reading. Improving my students comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary daily is vital. Having a classroom library with a variety of reading literature keeps the students interested and fully invested into their growth. Seeing them reading on a beanbag or the rug being transformed by the words coming off the pages of the books daily enhancing every aspect of their education will be so very amazing . I will utilize the books in a Reading Center with my students daily as well as students will access them during quiet time in the afternoon.
