My Project

Our students come to the school library once a week. I read them a story and they get to check out books. Public libraries were closed during COVID-19 and many parents haven't gotten back into routine library visits. Many of my students' families just can't get them to the public library, so checking out books here at school is so special for them!

Choosing their own books and sharing them with their family is so fun for my students.

It also helps them learn responsibility.

During COVID-19 I couldn't have my book fair that funds my library. This grant would really help me!
