My Project

My classroom has amazing children, we are the RISE program which means our students are living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am a new teacher in this field and I am working on setting up my classroom so it is organized and creative along with inviting to our students. The rugs provide a way to define a space and help with the noise level in my classroom. The privacy screen allows students to work without distractions from other students in a quiet space.

RISE stands for Reaching Independence through Systemic Education, this means our students are on the Autism Spectrum and receive all of their education in this classroom, it is important that it meets their needs.
