My Students

Computer science is a new focus to our school district. Our school includes grades 4 to 6 with a student body of about 1,300+ of all backgrounds and demographics. We are also home to many SPED students. Our student body is in awe with technology and where it can bring them.

Digital Media is a new outlet that the students can explore, receive, and give information.

We have a very large number of students who are interested in computers and computer science, and adding these items to the students' toolbox will make a world of difference.

My Project

Sphero has been on the cutting edge of technology since their debut. Each release starts a new trend of groundbreaking technology that makes the students super excited to use. Sphero Specdrums is the next step in bridging technology with art and music.

Imagine telling a student that they could hear the colors around them?

That's right HEAR the colors. Sphero Specdrums makes this a happen with their amazing app and devices. Students in general ed and special ed can tap on their environment or the color palate included making music using this new technology. Students can also record sounds to import into the surrounding areas.
