This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my students is that they are all special and unique in their own way! Being five and six years old, they are learning new things every minute of the day.

My goal for this project is to help my students learn how to regulate their emotions and to give them a safe place to do so.

All the items in this project will help create a safe space in the classroom with tools, (books, toys, and stuff animals), to help my students self-regulate. Students learn best when they can control and understand their emotions.
