My students need bins to store their books, notebooks, and supplies, as well as a mobile work organizer to store completed work and items to send home.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am going into my first year of teaching a full classroom (last year I did reading intervention full time) at a Title IX school. Though I don’t know who exactly will be in my class yet, I know from working with 3rd graders last year that I will be working with students who have a variety of needs, both academically and behaviorally.
This group of students is special because they will be my first class ever.
I want them to have an amazing year. They deserve a teacher who is well-prepared and can provide them the supplies and tools they need to have a successful year!
My Project
In this project, I am looking for funding to get book bins and a work organizer for my students. Because of our flexible seating arrangements, the students do not have desks to store their personal belongings in.
Having these storage organizers will help keep our class neat and organized!
We are only into the second day of school, and already our things are spread all over the place. The book bins will be used to store notebooks, folders, and supplies, and will be an easy way for students to carry (and contain!) their things around the class. The mobile student work organizer will provide a place for students to receive work and important paperwork to be sent home.
