Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They love to read and find new ways to end the story they read! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances to grow both personally and academically. I believe in them and I know they will always pursue excellence.

We spend a lot of time reading and trying to understand the author's purpose specially in diverse books. Our school is in Grand Prairie, Texas. Our school's goal is to promote high-order thinking skills in their students and also love for science.
Each child in my classroom loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have them as my students. Each day we learn together!!
My Project
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place where my students really enjoy. They love reading on the carpet with their reading buddies! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read.
All of these books have been chosen with diversity in mind.
Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy the independent reading time while exploring other cultures.
