My Students

I teach awesome 2nd graders! We build community and treat each other like a class family. Our school is a safe, family-friendly school. We are a Title I school with over 82% on free or reduced lunch.

They love to learn.

One of their favorite things to do is read! They know that to become better readers they have to read, read, read, read, read, read, and read some more! One of their favorite activities is reading with a partner.

My Project

Sometimes students lack confidence in their work or get easily distracted. Privacy partitions will keep them focused on their work at hand.

Students need their own "offices" (privacy partitions) for when doing important assessments so that I can see what they know and/or what they may need help with.

I have tried stapling folders together to make partitions for the students, but they are not sturdy and do not hold up well! These new cardboard partitions will be stored on the storage rack so that they can be used for many years to come.
