Our Preschool Journey: Hands-On Materials for Education
My students need hands-on materials, such as alphabet bubbles, alphabet games, and counting maze, in all centers throughout the classroom. These materials will enhance their learning in all learning areas; reading, math, science,and social-emotional. These are skills which are needed for their educational journey.
"Who is the best preschool class in the whole wide world?" I ask my preschoolers on a daily basis, and they reply, "We are!" That's what I believe, and want them to know I believe in them, love them, and that they can do anything. My students come to school, daily ready to learn, full of life and energy, and excited for the day ahead of them. They thrive in a nurturing, structured and challenging learning environment. Access to individualized, tangible, and thoughtful tasks help ensure my student's progress.
I teach at a Title I school, in South Carolina, where the majority of my students receive free lunch.
My students WANT to be in school, because they want to learn, and I WANT to help them begin their educational journey with a bang.
My Project
In addition to lots of love, my students are also in need of hands-on materials (alphabet bubbles, alphabet games, counting maze, number cars, science materials, etc.) that will motivate them to learn, as they begin their educational journey. They will also be able to make connections between the classroom and real life. As young learners, they need to use their hands and minds to explore new things.
Learning the alphabet, as well as, numbers seem simple, but it is the foundation for ALL learning to come.
These materials will be used in centers, small group, and large group activities. I want preschool to be a magical time, where everything starts to come to life! These materials will help me create a learning experience they will never forget! Let's make learning fun AGAIN! My class and I thank you for your help! Let the learning begin!
