Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach wonderful, creative Pre-K children in a high need community. My students are true artists that engage in art activities on a daily basis.
In Pre-K many concepts are taught through art. The children are able to express themselves and explore their creativity on a daily basis. They love art and we have quickly run out of art supplies. Our easel has also broken, allowing only one child at a time to paint. The line for painting each day is unbelievable! We truly have budding artists in our class that use our supplies everyday. We are in desperate need of more. Please help!
My class needs a new art easel, various types of paint, collage materials, and basic art materials. These materials will allow the children to continue their love of creating art and make art work they can be proud of.
