My Students

With the number of students increasing in classrooms, it's hard to give students enough personal space that they can concentrate well. Having privacy folders, or offices, allows students to create their own quiet space at their desk.

My students live in a high poverty area and attend a Title I school.

They're second graders and are full of energy and curiosity. They are enthusiastic about learning and enjoy being in the classroom because of the fun learning environment that has been established.

My Project

We currently have privacy folders made of cut pieces of posterboard taped together with duct tape and laminated. They often fall over which kind of defeats the purpose of using them to decrease distractions. The kids love having their own area to learn and complete work. My students need 30 new privacy folders, a carrying case for pencils and scissors, and more pencils!

I want my students to have the best opportunity to learn in the classroom and having their own private spaces is a great way for them to complete tasks with more accuracy.

They would love these privacy folders. We always run out of pencils at well and always need more. The storage caddy would be a way for us to organize sharpened and broken pencils, scissors, and more! Thank you!
