This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I would describe my students as vibrant and curious. They are always happy to learn about new things and have are accountable for their own success. My students are motivated and want to learn about themselves and others through relevant teaching materials. Together to set and achieve our goals!

My Project

During this tough time with covid it is extremely important to keep my students safe and healthy. My students are in need of personal novels that they can take home with them in case of school closure and that they can use daily without the constant worry of covid.

These novels will impact the success of my students as we read and learn about appreciating and accepting our own identities, whether we are home or in school in person.

My students are interested in Greek mythology and want to explore the Greek God's and Goddesses while also learning about themselves.
