My Students

My students motivation to work hard and succeed in life is what makes them so special to me. My students are very motivated and kind children. My goal is to teach my students that learning can be fun. My students put a lot of effort into making good choices throughout the day which proves to show that in my classroom we are learning academics but we are also working on social and emotional pieces. My students have so much potential. Consider donating to my page so that I am able to use these resources to teach my students not only what they should be learning but also how to be a successful member in society.

My Project

These materials will help my students in many ways. For example, my students will be able to use most of these materials as recess toys. The free play teaches students how to interact socially with their peers. Playing allows children to learn social concepts and sharing. Social development is just as important as academic development at this stage! Plus, with our long winter months here in Maine, it makes it hard to keep the students stimulated throughout the day when they miss their outside time. The manipulatives will also help prepare my students for what they would like to be when they grow up. Interacting with STEM activities sparks interests in engineers, scientists, architects, and so much more!
