Help me give my students. The easel is an amazing way to have shared learning among all. Their vision of how the natural environment is would be easily displayed either using dry-erase markers on magnetic letters/figures.

My Students

My students are amazing. Their ages range from 12 - 13 and they are multi-handicapped. They are nonverbal and, therefore, need assistive technology to help them communicate. They are visual learners and require visuals to aid them. They receive related services. These services include speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling as well as English as a second language.

Adaptive physical education is part of their curriculum as well as art and music.

They are incredible kids who, when given the right materials can succeed!

My Project

These materials will help my learners to display their thoughts either using their words with dry erase markers or using letters/picture symbols to express themselves.

The LEGO animals will help them with their fine motor skills, as well as, their imagination.

The natural world will come alive as the student sees it in their mind. There is nothing more powerful than a child's imagination

The students will see and share their work either on the easel or by building with the lego. They will get a chance to celebrate each other and see their peer's vision of the natural world.
