Help me give my students electronic tablets to do all the things that will make them successful in this 21st century learning environment.

Preparing students for life beyond high school requires a lot of support and planning. Therefore, I created a College and Career Center designed toward providing the necessary resources and tools. In our weekly chew and chats, students have the ability to learn about a college or careers.
The students at R.
High School are dedicated, creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They love anything that challenges them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances! They motivate me to continue to come up with innovative ways to provide resources.
It is critical that they get the support that they need to pursue a higher education. Most of the students that attend our school are first-generation college students. We are so proud of our students for working hard to accomplish their post-secondary goals.
Giving low-income students access to new technology is a critical investment in their future. The students will use this technology to take notes in school, to write papers, and to complete college coursework. Our high school is a Title I school where most of the students receive free and/or reduced lunch. Therefore, most students do not have the ability to purchase the necessary supplies for college. As a part of our national college signing day, I would like 20 Samsung tablets to provide access to technology to assist students with completing future college coursework.
Providing students with 20 Samsung tablets will increase their chances of success in college by enabling our students to stay on track and meet critical deadlines.
Also, technology will help them to achieve their academic outcomes and prepare them for the future. The use of technology will empower students after they graduate by helping to prepare them for the workforce and beyond.
