Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our fabulous first graders have been blessed with iPad minis for this school year. Unfortunately, they did not come with protective cases. My students need 20 iPad mini covers to protect our learning technology.
Our students are first graders at an inner-city school in Kansas.
They are highly engaged by technology and many do not have access to a lot of it outside of school. The students are so excited to begin using the iPads, though we are hesitant because they are not properly protected.
My Project
Your donation for iPad covers will keep our new minis safe and protected for years to come. The iPads themselves will allow students to become better readers, writers, mathematicians, and 21st Century learners. With the protection of the covers, students in the future will also benefit from the technology.
Our students are not able to ask their families to donate money so your donation will have a huge impact on them.
