Our Mathematicians Will Celebrate Pi Day With Sir Cumference!

My Project

Every year our students are so excited to celebrate Pi Day since I integrate some fun and challenging activities. When we highlight the school year, students always mention how they remember the activities we do for Pi Day in March.

The Sir Cumference books that I ordered will be such a hit with the students!

I have purchased a few already but for some reason, they don't stay in my library so I ordered the series along with some other Pi Day books! My students have a math checklist to do and one activity they need to complete is to read the Sir Cumference books. My students asked me this last semester if I could "purchase" more Pi Day books and I told them I would.

Pi Day teaches the students so many different math concepts and even though I teach just 5th and 6th math, they are learning many Jr. High math concepts. Never too late to learn new math skills! I want to challenge the students with new and interesting concepts.
