Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This campus is full of dedicated and hardworking students! As you all know, this year, these students have faced numerous challenges this year, many of which make it difficult to be excited about continuing their education. Despite the various barriers that come with operating in a virtual setting, I have the awesome opportunity to support the senior class.
Each student is unique and has their own talent, passions, and skills to share with the world.
And even online, they have put a lot of effort into their extracurricular activities, including virtual choir and band performances, as well as stay connected through events and spirit weeks. Learning about their various obstacles and accomplishments, I know these students will continue to do amazing things! I want to make sure they are prepared and have the tools necessary to continue their education!
My Project
These materials will help prepare my students for college! At the end of every year, we host a big event to celebrate their next steps. These items will be part of a giveaway which proved to be a huge success last year thanks to our donors!
We all know technology is expensive but also very necessary for college and I want to make sure it doesn't prevent my students from succeeding!
This will allow them to have the basic tools necessary to continue their education! Our goal is to encourage them and hope this makes them excited to go to college!
