Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students are funny. We help the school by picking up the trash. The students are active and they run around at recess a lot.
We like to support each other by helping each other in class.
We like to play on the computers in our classroom. Our class plays this math game called Prodigy and this math website called Zearn. We enjoy going to the library every Friday after recess. We have to take A.R tests every week and if we get 85% or 100% we get an A.R party.
Note: This is a service learning project developed by Mrs. Pirritano’s fifth graders.
My Project
We we need new books because the books in our library are ruined. Whenever we get books they might be ripped. Some of the books in the library are not interesting, some are boring, and some are old as well. We try hard to take care of our books.
We try to take care of our books because our books can get ruined easily.
It will be nice if we had new books at our school library, so the kids that are here can check out new books. We sometimes lose the books and if we don’t return them we have to pay for it, so we try to take good care of them.
