Help me give my students a comfortable learning environment with portable desk, chair bands, and meditation cushions. Flexible seating will allow my students to feel at home in our classroom and do their best.
My students are a group of high energy and ambitious kids. They are a mixed group of English language learners with a variety of learning abilities and levels.
This group of students has a passion for math and reading non-fiction text.
They love getting involved with activities and projects. I enjoy being able to see them open their eyes to new strategies and ways of learning.
I know their faces will light up when they see that they have a new outlet and way of learning.
My Project
Flexible seating will open up the learning environment and expand on the love of learning. The ten portable desks, cushions, bal chairs and Big Joe Lounger will show my students that learning can happen anywhere. They can work in groups or find a quiet spot to focus. Allowing students to choose their best learning spot helps give them ownership of their classroom and their education.
My goal this year is to make our classroom our home.
Building relationships and making every student feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn how to conquer them. We will use all of these tools daily in small group, whole group, and one on one.
