My Students

My library classes are full of students who are curious, imaginative, and creative! We are a school that builds around community and we strive to create those relationships that will have lasting effects on the students. We are a K-5 school in an impoverished area of the community where

My students are fascinated when they learn something new and are able to share it with their fellow peers.

They are ready to immerse in their learning and take responsibility for the knowledge that they are presenting to the school.

When we use our imagination and have the tools to create masterpieces, there is no limit to what my students can accomplish.

My Project

While we try to utilize all materials available at the school, we sometimes need some help. By using Trifolds to display their information, students are truly able to embrace their character in their wax museum without having to hold up a poster.

Students will be able to truly interact with their audience as a wax museum should be.

Our poster boards will be used for props and making costumes. For example: making ties, vests, and hats. Without having to ask students to bring supplies from home, I would like to use the beads as a way to enhance their display boards. For example, if a student chooses James Naismith, that student could make a basketball out of the bead as opposed to simply drawing the picture.
