Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from various backgrounds. They are striving to be 21st-century learners who are becoming more fluent in their use of technology.

We have 120 first graders.

They need access to technology and accessories during their school day. We use different programs and resources online throughout their time here at school.

Our population is ever changing and many of our students do have access to these at home either due to device issues or no internet. They rely on using these here at school.

My Project

Have you ever had to use a computer everyday that constantly shut down while working, had a black screen flashing, didn't have sound when needed or froze?

Frustrating, right?

Having new Chromebooks will help to start replacing our technology that is many years old. Our starts deserve access to items that work without constantly having issues interfering with their classwork.

All students will use this technology everyday, making it easier for them to not have to worry about not having these at home. They will be able to log on and work continuously. Sharing devices across multiple students when technology is not working makes it hard for students to get a beneficial amount of time on the programs.
