Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The first grade students in room 3 love to read! We love to read at school, and we love to read at home.
We have a bookcase of favorite books we like to read together with our classmates, we have a listening center where we can hear the stories and follow along, and we have a library where we can check out a book every day and take it home to read with our parents and siblings.
My Project
Our favorite books have been read so many times, they are falling apart! Even though our teacher and parents do their best to extend their lives by covering them with contact paper and reinforcing them with tape, some of them just need to be replaced.
Please help us have new books that we will read and share and love for years to come.
