I have 25 wonderful middle school students who enjoy learning to the fullest. They have their own special talents, which makes for a diverse group of learners. I must say that my students are the best! They always want to learn more and they really enjoy helping each other and working hard in school. They are social beings and enjoy activities with their friends. Our school strives to ensure our students have what they need to succeed. Our faculty come together to help each and every student obtain their goals.
My Project
Help give my students amenity kits that include shampoo, conditioner, comb, hand and body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste, mouthwash, and washcloth all wrapped in a basket. In addition, I am requesting deodorants to place in their hygiene closet. These hygiene items will make a huge difference. With these items students will be provide with what is needed to practice good hygiene.
Students will learn that keeping their body clean is an important part of staying healthy and helping them to feel good about themselves.
Also, they will learn that daily washing, cleaning hands before and after handling food, wearing clean clothing, looking after your skin, hair and nails and good oral hygiene are all factors that contribute to keeping healthy. In addition, they will learn personal hygiene is not only important for good health, it is also essential for a person's self-esteem. This is why we need this storage cabinet.
