There is one copier in our building that is to service over 22 classrooms. This needs to change.
I serve twenty-three kindergarten students who live in the heart of the mountains of Kentucky.
They are bright, energetic, and very active children. They are at a critical time in their lives, the beginning stages of reading, writing, math, and the arts. In addition, they are learning critical character education skills.
My Project
I'm requesting a classroom copier with toner cartridges and copy paper. Currently, our school has one copier to service all the classrooms. It is difficult to be able to just run to the copier when it is located a distance away, and when I am able to get there, I must wait in a line. This time waiting and traveling to and from can be spent in my classroom, with my students. I want my classroom to run as smooth as possible and be as productive as possible. This new system will allow our classroom to be more efficient. No more will there be a dash to the copier due to not having enough handouts to complete an activity. This copier will allow my students to have what is needed within the classroom. Newsletters, word wall word activities, grammar and math handouts will be copied directly from the room.
My students do not need to be hindered by there not being enough copies to complete an activity.
With this copier their needs will be met right in the classroom. Be a part of providing my classroom with the necessary materials to allow it to run much smoother.
